The CodeReady Experience

Please read through The CodeReady Experience, before inquiring of pricing or starting any new projects with us:

The Possibilities:

New ideas are the future of your company, so limitation is merely perception. We strive to capture your imagination and accompany you in your efforts to bring it to reality.

Capability:

From a capabilities standpoint, we will consult and advise with you through your projects with us to ensure that your product will be everything you'd expect it to be. We've heard the horror stories of companies releasing unmanageable software to their clients so we go through every phase of development with you before development ever begins.

Planning:

  • Do you have your content prepared? Each page or feature of your product should have its own word document containing all of the required content/information for that page for planning and build reference.
    Notice:
If you do not have this prepared, your project can encounter delays and further charges will be applied if excessive consultation is required.

  • Do you have a logo? Does your company have strict guidelines on logo usage?
  • Are there specific types of images you want used in your product?
  • Do you have a PMS color palette that your company strictly adheres to?
  • Do you have any print material that you want your product to closely mimic for branding purposes?
  • Do you know your target audience and demographics?
  • Have you researched other products and websites to get an idea as to what you want for your product or website?

Design:

Based on the documentation that you provide to us, we will prepare one non-functional comprehensive design sketch for you based on your requirements. Adjustments to that design are made after the design review meeting. If the design presented to you is not what you envisioned, then a meeting will be held to discuss further changes/design and a new comprehensive sketch will be designed for you and a second design meeting will be held to revisit any changes or adjustments that need to be made. If the design has still not met your needs, then we will ask you to hire a 3rd party design agency to provide us with your approved and final design. Discount will be applied. This is not usually the case, but in rare instances it can happen if requirements are not communicated properly.

Notice:
Due to our products being 100% dynamic in function (non static), once the design has been signed off (verbally or written), or provided to us by your 3rd party agency, no major layout changes will be accepted and no features can be added until the end of the development build phase. If changes must be made, additional costs may be applied.

Development:

Once your design has been signed off, it will then go into development mode where our developer(s) will take the approved design and cut and code it into a functional product. Cross-browser compatibility testing between all internet browsers is of key importance to us during the development phase. We will ensure your product works for everyone including section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act.

Testing / Usability:

When the product is released from the initial development phase, it is then passed on to the quality assurance analysts for our stringent testing and usability phase. This is where your product is tested for any errors, design flaws, cross-browser compatibility issues, atypical markup practices and validation testing. Once your product has passed all tests at a rating of 100% it will then be released for usability testing. This is where your product is tested for functionality issues and bugs. Once your site has passed the usability testing it will then be ready for deployment and client testing.

Deployment / Client Testing:

The product has passed all of our standard testing practices at this point and is now ready for the client to preview the product for the very first time. This preview is to train and ensure the client knows how to use their newly built product before going live. This is the most critical point to ensure that the product functions properly and to ask any questions regarding your ready-to-go-live product.
